How and when did the Civic Society get started? history.

Constitution

The society has a formal constitution. We do not follow this slavishly, but we need to have one for insurance purposes and to show we are an organisation with discipline and rules when we apply for grants and other financial support.

All members are entitled to attend the main meetings which take place every two months at Healds Hall, Millbridge, by kind agreement with the proprietors. The officers of the Society meet each intervening month.

If there is a particular project on the go then we ask for volunteers to comprise a working party or a steering group.
